What recovery really looks like
Sofia Marchetti, RN · 5 min read
Most aesthetic treatments have far less downtime than people fear — but "minimal" is not "none," and the difference matters when you are planning around real life. Here is what recovery honestly looks like for a few common treatments.
The first 24 hours
Expect mild redness or warmth, a little like light sun exposure. For injectables there may be small bumps or occasional bruising at injection sites, easily concealed. This is the body responding exactly as it should.
- Skip strenuous exercise for the first day
- Protect the skin from direct sun
- Resume gentle skincare as advised — nothing active straight away
Good aftercare is unglamorous and specific. That is precisely why it works.
The following days
Redness settles, any flaking from resurfacing treatments passes, and results begin to show. We give you a clear, written timeline for your specific treatment during your consultation, and a follow-up to review and refine.
The goal is no surprises. If something feels unexpected, you can always reach us — continuity of care is the point, not an afterthought.
